Cataract Awareness Month

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye that affects vision. Most cataracts are related to ageing. Cataracts are very common in older people. A cataract can occur in either or both eyes. It cannot spread from one eye to the other.
June is the month of Cataract Awareness Month, and the sole aim is to increase awareness regarding regular check-up of the eyes and look for the signs of cataract.
