Pancreas is a gland which has two components exocrine component and endocrine component. The exocrine component which is responsible for making proteins/ enzymes and releasing them into small intestines for easy digestion. On the other hand, the endocrine component of the pancreas is responsible for making hormones and regulating the body’s metabolism.
